Strengthening Catholic Faith ‑
The two kiosks in the foyer of the Church near the front door contain many inspiring Catholic CDs and brochures (in English and Spanish) that can be purchased for only $3 per CD and 50 cents per brochure. We have received several new CDs with such titles as "The Seven Last Sayings of Christ," Seven Deadly Sins/Seven Lively Virtues," "The Saving Power of Divine Mercy," and "Building Better Families."
Many of you have already purchased these wonderful materials to improve your knowledge and understanding of our Catholic Faith, and we hope more of you will do so. There are many additional titles available, so please let us know if there is a subject that you would like to have addressed. You may speak to one of the priests about this or to Mr. Jim Drummey during the week.
The Chaplet of Mercy is
recited in Church every Saturday after the 4:00
pm Mass. If you wish to join us, come to the small chapel after Mass and
pray with us.

Today Is Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy Sunday is a special day when Catholics throughout the world
who are in the state of grace can receive total
forgiveness of all punishment attached to sin by participating in the
Divine Mercy devotion at 3:00 p.m. today. In order to receive this incredible
grace, one has to be in the state of grace, have made a good Confession eight
days before or after today, receive Holy Communion at Mass today, trust in
God's mercy, and perform works of mercy. You can honor this Feast by praying
the Divine Mercy Chaplet, taking part in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament,
and reciting the Litany of Mercy.
There are three places where you can join in
this wonderful devotion: the Cathedral
of the Holy Cross in Boston, where Cardinal O'Malley will lead the prayers; St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut
Street, Chelsea; and the Betania II
Spiritual Life Center in Medway. The service in the first two places will
begin at 3:00 p.m., while the celebration in Medway will begin at 1:00 p.m and
conclude with Mass at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome. Confessions will be available
during the day at Betania II. For more information on the latter event, please
call (508) 533-5377, ext. 106.

Prayer for Pope Benedict XVI
Please say the following prayer for our Holy Father, who is being falsely accused.
God, our Father, look with kindness upon your servant Pope Benedict
XVI, the pastor of your Church.
Grant him, we beseech You, an abundance of
the virtues of faith, hope, and charity,
prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.
Protect him from the designs of his enemies,
and grant him always the courage
to fight the good fight.
As successor to the Apostles Peter and Paul
and Vicar of Christ, may his fidelity to you,
through his words and example, inspire and guide
the Church, and may he and all those entrusted
to his care come to the joys of eternal life.
Grant this, we pray, through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and
reigns with You and the
Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
