On this Monday, March 29th, Jim Drummey will give a slide presentation on the Passion and Death of Our Lord. Please plan to join us at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Paul Room of the School for an evening of prayer, song, and meditation on the Passion of Our Lord and Savior.

Donations for Easter Flowers and Decorations – There is still time to remember your loved ones in the season of Easter by placing their names in one of the envelopes that you will find at the entrance of each door in the Church, marked “Easter Flowers,” along with your monetary donation. Servers, Lectors, and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Needed for Holy Week

If you would like to help us with the services for the Holy Triduum, we invite you to go to the sacristy after Mass and tell the priest or the person in charge of your particular ministry that you are willing to help. We are in need of servers, lectors, and extraordinary ministers for each day. Communion under both species will resume today.

Cleaning of the Church and the Grounds

On Holy Saturday morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, all those who wish to volunteer to help us clean the Church and grounds are more than welcome to come.

We want our Church not only to look beautiful, but also to show our pride and joy as we celebrate the greatest feast of our faith with others.

So bring your brooms, mops, buckets, cleaning rags, and garden tools from home because we don't have enough for everyone. Thank you!

Thanks from St. Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is grateful for all the food you have donated for our pantry during Lent. However, we could use more food, so please continue your donations of can goods and cereals. A grocery store gift-card or cash would also help the needy.

Strengthening Our Catholic Faith

The two kiosks in the foyer of the Church near the front door contain many inspiring Catholic CDs and brochures (in English and Spanish) that can be purchased for only $3 per CD and 50 cents per brochure. Titles of the brochures include "Biblical Answers to Questions About Catholicism," "How to Pray the Rosary," and "How to Make a Good Confession."

Many of you have already used these wonderful materials to improve your knowledge and understanding of our Catholic Faith, and we hope more of you will do so. There are many additional titles available, so please let us know if there is a subject that you would like to have addressed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: There will be NO Noon time Mass on Holy Tuesday. Priests will join the Bishop at the Cathedral for the Chrism Mass and renewal of priestly promises. You may watch this Mass on BCTV. Thanks!

JOIN US FOR HOLY WEEK AND

THE SACRED TRIDUUM

We hope that you will join us for the celebrations during Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum. This is the greatest liturgical week of the entire year because it commemorates the redeeming work of Christ for our salvation.

The Triduum begins on Holy Thursday with the celebration of the Lord's Supper, the institution of the Eucharist, the mandate to love one another, and the institution of the priesthood. We will adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament until midnight as He begins the initial hours of His bitter Passion.

On Good Friday, we remember the death of the Lord and come to venerate the Cross. On Saturday, we wait in Vigil for the Resurrection of Jesus as we recall the story of our salvation and welcome catechumens into the Church through Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist.
